SBS has submitted an application to create under the name "Channel X", as commercial media setting television website reported. The Commissioner has granted permission for a period of five years. SBS spokesman Dik Nagtegaal: "It is a license for an additional channel to UPC Digital, for the red button. It is not meant as an open channel, but for parties, for example perform a home shopping license.
